Fiery Home Protection Spell

Purpose: This is a protection ritual to protect your home and possessions.


Items Needed & Correspondences Used:

Dill – to keep anyone ill disposed towards you or envious of you from entering your home

Pepper – to protect against the evil eye

Cumin – helps to protect from and drive out evil

Cinnamon – sends out protective vibrations

Castor Beans – these beans are excellent for protection against the evil eyes as well as helping to combat all negativity

Vinegar –draws the power and strength of fire into the spell. It is also a purifying agent. This vinegar is made protection and the fire element will add to the strength of that protection as well as purifying the home

Crystal Quartz – this stone is an amplifier for all magickal uses. It has been used for years for protection. In this recipe it is used for it’s protective properties and to increase the power of the herbs and vinegar and other stones

In this recipe I used the number nine for the number of parts for the ingredients (the vinegar is 3 parts.) I did this because of the significance of the number nine to witches but also because when looking at the word PROTECTION it comes out to a number nine also. I felt this would add to the strength of the protection spell.

Spell:

Mix the ingredients together and repeat the following while you do so:

By this fire waters power

And the herbs that mix there in

The power of protection is released

To guard this house and all that dwell within

May the strength of the flame burn

All who would try to bring harm

On this home and its people

Lid the vinegar tightly and set out in the sunlight for three days to absorb the solar and lunar power. Strain and rebottle saying:

By the fire of the blazing sun

And the mysterious power of the glowing moon

This vinegar is blessed

The power of God and Goddess

And the power of fire

Have empowered the contents of this bottle

With power and strength

To guard and protect all

That here in reside

Leave for two weeks in a dark, cool place. When the moon is full take a spray bottle and pour the vinegar into it. Starting at your front door and moving clockwise, take the bottle and spray three sprays above, below, and to each side of every door and window on your house. As well spray one spray every three feet outside of your home at the ground level. If you are in an apartment or can not reach all of the windows you can do this on the inside as well. The vinegar should not stain. With each spray say something like:

By the strength of fire and the power of the Lord and Lady

This place is safe and protected

You could use it to actually wash the windows with placing an added barrier between you and any that would try to enter with negative or destructive. Simply spray on the windows and use a lint free cloth or a piece of news print to clean and dry.


Additional Information:

If there is any left over vinegar you can keep it in a clearly labelled spray bottle for up to three months. You can use it to refresh the protection spell at any time.
